Our client is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in North London. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in scaling and productionising their innovative polymer-based packaging materials. This role offers a competitive salary of £50-60k per annum, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to contribute to a pollution-free future.


Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee all aspects of scaling and productionisation with our manufacturing partners
- Manage production and process development projects for new products
- Act as the critical technical and project interface between various teams and stakeholders
- Implement best practices, drive continuous improvement, and develop robust quality programs
- Collaborate on world-first projects across multiple teams

Qualifications

- 3-5 years of proven experience in industrial manufacturing, ideally with exposure to polymers and plastic components
- Experience in scaling production from prototype to high-volume manufacturing
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as materials science or mechanical engineering
- Self-motivated, proactive, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Day-to-day

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work on scaling the future of packaging materials, collaborate with production partners, and drive continuous improvement to ensure the highest standards of production quality and on-time delivery.
