Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: London

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Salary: 40,000 to 47,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Main Duties:

  • Completing daily, weekly, monthly & annual PPM's
  • Responding to emergency maintenance
  • Testing and inspecting mechanical systems and equipment
  • Monitoring the BMS controls
  • Working on HVAC systems - Cooling towers, Chillers etc.
  • Diagnosing issues and reporting back to the line managers
  • Liaising with subcontractors
  • Liaising with building managers
  • Keeping an accurate log of completed PPM's
  • Flexibility working on minor reactive issues

Qualifications Needed:

NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 in Mechanical bias

Mechanical biased UK degree

Previous experience working in commercial buildings
