One of my leading clients are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Services Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated on-site maintenance team at a prestigious flagship building in the heart of Central London. This high-profile site demands exemplary standards of maintenance and professionalism, providing an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to showcase their expertise in mechanical compliance, with ample opportunity for career growth within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, pumps, and water systems.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), chillers, and cooling towers.
  • Ensure all maintenance work adheres to health and safety regulations, including Legionella control and F-Gas compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, including updating logbooks and using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Work alongside subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.

Requirements:

  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, plumbing, or equivalent
  • F-Gas certificate (desirable)
  • Legionella awareness training
