A fantastic opportunity to work for an M&E Service Provider who are currently recruiting for a Resident Maintenance Engineer to work at a retails site based in Stratford, East London. This role is offering a salary of £40,000 per annum depending on experience. Working Monday Friday, 8am 5pm or 7am 4pm. With Fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the industry.

Job Role:

The role of a Maintenance Engineer role to carry out the planned and reactive repairs to various plant equipment. Additionally the engineer will be expected to assist other trades as directed by the operations supervisor.

  • Provide general multi skilled Building services maintenance support on all buildings and plant.
  • Implement all maintenance and corrective works on the site in accordance with Maintenance Instructions, company and site specific procedures.
  • Perform testing and inspecting of mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards.
  • Provide accurate feedback and information including but not limited to completed test sheets, routine rounds inspection sheets and work dockets containing durations of maintenance activities and observations.
  • Ensure that all plant and systems are maintained and operated in order to provide maximum efficiency, availability and reliability.
  • Carry out remedial and/or refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections.

Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;

  • Generators
  • Heat pumps
  • AHUs, FCUs
  • Pumps, Motors
  • Plumbing
  • Fans, Belts, Filters
  • General maintenance
  • Emergency lighting
  • Legionella testing
  • Fire alarm testing
  • 3 phase motors

Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have:

  • The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications City & Guilds Maintenance Engineering Multi trades.
  • With at least 5 years experience working within building services maintaining multi trade systems.
  • Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
