Shift Maintenance EngineerHours of Work: 7am - 7pm, 4 on 4 offJob Summary:  The Shift Maintenance Engineer will work with a small team of maintenance staff on a rotating night shift shift rota. The Shift Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned maintenance tasks and varied unscheduled work and Tenant services in a busy environment.Main Responsibilities:  The Shift Maintenance Electrician will be required to identify and diagnose faults and to carry out repairs, adjustments and other maintenance works as appropriate.  To carry out the required routine servicing, repair or adjustment of plant and machinery in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule as tasked by the Building Control Co-ordinator.  To work with other Engineers as required to ensure the most cost effective completion of all tasks.  To understand and to be able to operate all building control systems in order to monitor the plant, collect data and diagnose faults, where appropriate.  To assist in the supervision of sub-contractors as appropriate.What We Require of You:
  • Time served in a recognised electrical or electronic City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications is essential.
  • 18th Edition desirable
  • Previous experience in a multi-disciplined operations/maintenance team in a new technology building. 
  • Able to demonstrate basic understanding of HVAC and building services
  • Working with minimum supervision.
