The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring operational excellence: Providing both electrical and mechanical support to minimize downtime and optimize machinery performance.
- Swift problem-solving: Diagnosing and resolving machinery breakdowns efficiently to keep production running smoothly.
- Driving improvement: Contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Carrying out maintenance: Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and addressing reactive maintenance needs.
- Working hands-on: Engaging with state-of-the-art automated machinery in a high-performance environment.
What's Needed:
- Relevant experience: A proven track record in manufacturing or production, ideally in the food or FMCG sectors.
- Technical expertise: Solid knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.
- Qualifications: A recognized degree, NVQ, or time-served apprenticeship in engineering.
- Proactive mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
