An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious critical site in the heart of the City of London. This role offers the chance to work as part of a stable, professional maintenance team with significant opportunities for personal development and career progression.The Role:As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and emergency response.
  • Operating on a continental shift pattern (days and nights).
  • Maintaining critical systems such as single and three-phase power, motors, generators (on/off-load tests), UPS systems, LV/HV switching, emergency lighting, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, sprinkler systems, pumps, and BMS.
  • Conducting fire alarm testing, shutdowns, and general plant maintenance.
  • Managing subcontractors, quotations, health & safety compliance, risk assessments, logbooks, and permits to work.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification such as City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in building services maintenance.
  • Career-driven, motivated, and personable with a proactive attitude.
