Dorsett Hospitality International is looking for a strong, professional Assistant Procurement Manager, to handle all the procurement activities for the assigned hotel properties in the UK, including sourcing, negotiation and preparing group contracts. Ensure Dorsett Hospitality Internationals specifications and requirements, business strategy and the continuity of supply are met, enabling hotels and support centres to operate efficiently, supporting customer requirements, cost objectives and allowing a quality/ reliable solution. You must havewith solid food& beverage knowledge, outstanding leadership and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Cluster Procurement Manager based onsite at Dorsett Shepherds Bush London, West London.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day procurement operations, receiving and storage, and inventory control.
Ensure purchasing requests are timely attended and follow up delivery to support hotel operation needs.
Negotiate with suppliers to optimize the best price with a good quality standard
Ensure the departments comply and uphold Hotel standards, purchasing procedures and requirements.
Comply with Company regulations & code of ethics.
Conduct regular market surveys, obtaining competitive quotations and aggressively negotiating to reap the maximum price benefits of purchasing power.
Ensure the vendor and products are of high quality by conducting a vendor qualification search and product testing
Develop and maintain business relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Develop and administer supplier contracts for managing costs, schedules, performance factors, service levels, supplier liability limits, and continuity of supply.
Report to the line manager of the cost and implications of each departments spending and consumption of inventory and non-inventory items.
Forecasting cost projections for hotel projects and operations.
Handle hotel development/construction procurement activities as required by the line manager.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by the line manager.
Proven or demonstrated performance developing cross-border strategic supplier relationships
Proactive problem solver with strong planning orientation and ability to work across borders.
Excellent working knowledge of procurement, production control, and supply chain management
Strong Hotel experience to setup, implement and manage OS&E and F&B Procurement strategy matching to the operational requirement
Master the Procurement Operations System
Demonstrate strong work ethics, integrity and honesty.
Excellent negotiation skills, able to reach favourable agreements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to foster trust and cooperation.
