I am currently working alongside a market leading main contractor, who specialises in residential modular construction, and they are looking to add an ESG & Sustainability assistant to their London team.
Key roles & responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Manage project documentation, including reports, certificates, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
Liaison:
- Communicate effectively with contractors, and consultants to answer queries and provide updates.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all project team members to ensure ESG project data collation requirements are fulfilled.
- Liaison between design teams, QS' and sub contractors.
Technical Support:
- Assist in data collection and analysis
- Prepare and review technical reports and submissions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, corporate, and procurement plans
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong organisationaland time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of building construction and sustainability principles (preferred but not essential).
- Understanding of BREEAM standards and certification processes (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of sustainability certifications and standards (e.g., FSC, BES 6001, ASI, EMS, etc).
