Expert Filer

Our client is a UK- based investment solutions boutique that focuses on supporting financial advisers, discretionary managers and asset owners and they require an Expert Filer to be based in Central London, UK.

This is 5- days temporary contract role to start ASAP.

9am-5pm- Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Expert Filer to assist in converting a large collection of papers into a well-organized set of ring binders. The ideal candidate will have experience as a PA or office manager and possess excellent organizational skills. We are looking for someone efficient, methodical, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Sorting & Organization: Review and categorize a large volume of papers, ensuring each document is appropriately sorted by category, importance, or relevance.
  • Binder Creation: Neatly and systematically transfer sorted papers into ring binders, using tabs, dividers, and labels for easy reference and access.
  • Labeling & Indexing: Create clear and concise labels for each binder and section, ensuring the overall system is user-friendly and logical.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the project to ensure no important documents are misplaced or misfiled.
  • Efficiency & Time Management: Complete the project within the estimated 5-day timeframe, working methodically without sacrificing quality.
  • Confidentiality: Handle all documents with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a personal assistant (PA), office manager, or in a similar administrative role where filing and document management were key responsibilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to organize, file, and arrange documents in a neat, efficient, and accessible manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail when handling and sorting documents.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay focused on the task at hand.
  • Time Management: Capable of managing time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure the project is completed within 5 days.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with physical and digital filing systems.
  • Familiarity with creating logical document categories and organizational systems.
  • Ability to manage sensitive or confidential documents appropriately.
