A well-known law firm in the legal 500 is seeking a Facilities Assistant on a 12 month contract to join their people centric, growing, London based team.
Paying up to £27,827 plus benefits, the Facilities Assistant will join a large operations team and will be involved in day to day running of the busy office in central London. This is a really great opportunity for someone who has roughly 6 month experience in facilities who is looking to grow and progress their career in a great firm. While this is a 12 month contract initially there will be opportunity for extension for the right candidate.
The duties will include the following:
- Delivering and sending internal and external post to the employees within the firm
- Replenishing stock (stationery, paper, envelopes, etc.)
- Helping with office moves and relocations
- Working closely with the Reprographics, Records and Reception teams
- Franking post and DX;
- Answering telephone calls to the department
- Drafting and responding to email correspondence
- Managing tickets using TopDesk;
- Setting up and reconfiguring meeting rooms as needed
- Assisting with the reprographics service when necessary
- Providing back-up support for post scanning when required
- Assisting Records with the archiving of documents
- Assisting Records with archiving of matters in Partner for Windows;
- Additional tasks that may arise and are relevant to the typical responsibilities of a Facilities department
The ideal candidate will have some facilities experience and have a genuine interesting in pursuing a career withing facilities management. Limited experience is welcome, its more about attitude, willingness to learn as well just getting stuck in! They are very team orientated and well as hard working, so are looking for someone who be proactive, with a willingness to learn.
