Office and Events Assistant
Full-time in the beautiful London City office

About the Company - Our client is looking for an Office Assistant/Events Support to join its small support team to manage the office. There will also be the opportunity to work with the events team and membership team on the exciting events that we run and help on the administration of some forums for young talent. The post will mainly be office-based, although some flex can be offered on occasion.
About the Role - Main Responsibilities:
- Meeting Management
- Meeting room management (bookings, room set up, lunch ordering, cleaning up after meetings, liaising with staff to confirm meeting room bookings and details)
- Meeting and greeting guests who arrive for meetings
- Helping with breakfast and evening events when required
- Office Admin/Office Management
- Keeping the office/kitchen area tidy
- Ordering office supplies, e.g stationery, toner and kitchen supplies
- Ensuring any incoming post/deliveries is picked up from reception and distributed
- Be the main point of contact and manage the switchboard including transferring calls and taking messages where necessary.
- In conjunction with the EA to Chief Executive/IT Manager, support in the general office management:
- Liaise with the building management company, ensuring that basic facilities such as water and heating are maintained
- Communicating effectively with all staff who use the facilities to ensure that any problem or recommendation is acted upon in a timely manner
- Liaise with security in respect of security fobs for members of staff
- Helping keep our key contact details for members up to date (along with the Team PA/IT Manager.
- Travel
- Booking any company travel including hotels/flights/trains, etc.
- As and when required booking couriers and taxis
- Events
- Helping the Events team with admin for our flagship events
- Providing general administrative and clerical support across the teams as and when required.
