Join Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, a leading housing provider, as a Temporary Part-Time Admin Assistant. This role is based in the dynamic Customer Services directorate, specifically within the Community Impact team. You will be instrumental in supporting the Grants and Contracts Manager and the wider team by handling a variety of administrative tasks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with managing the Grants and Contracts Team’s inbox, responding to correspondence, queries, and requests efficiently.
  • Handle day-to-day transactions of the Tenant Welfare Fund cases and document any process changes.
  • Process requests where Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing or Community Impact is a Trusted Partner with access to external funding.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on suppliers used for Tenant Welfare Fund purposes i.e. vouchers and white goods and services, ensuring related invoices are processed timely.
  • Provide project support in particular for our regional Winter Plans and Campaigns, including raising and receipting purchase orders, submitting invoices to be paid, preparing payment forms, procuring items and arranging delivery, handling correspondence, and responding to queries.
  • Assist in the promotion of the Winter Plans and associated activities and creating publicity materials etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within social housing, local authority, or a charity.
  • Strong ability to develop relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated with the capability to work with minimal supervision and maintain attention to detail.
  • Experience in Case Management would be desirable, but not essential
