Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Associate with a strong background in supporting to deliver Transition and Transformation projects, preferably within the Defence & National Security sector. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful project execution in complex environments.

As part of a dedicated team of 1800 professionals, your role will contribute directly to delivering high-quality services to customers, shaping strategic outcomes for the Ministry of Defence.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Project Managers to successfully deliver work packages and project stages.
  • Define requirements and objectives, ensuring agreement with stakeholders.
  • Support managing project scope, financials, and risks, ensuring clear impact visibility
  • Report to the Project or Program Manager through Highlight Reports and stage assessments
  • Ensures that formal review procedures are used.
  • Manages the risks associated with the deliverables of the project or work package.
  • Provide project updates via Highlight Reports and stage assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with working practices and governance policies.
  • Support formal review procedures, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Support Agile project methodologies, ensuring alignment with program objectives.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in assisting to deliver projects in a structured environment.
  • Must have extensive MS Project experience
  • Knowledge of formal project review processes and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile principles is highly desirable but not essential.
  • MUST HAVE experience supporting projects within the Defence sector.
