We are working with our client to recruit an Administrator for the Project Team.

The role is to carry out Document Control, drawing amendments, create RAMS from templates, create O+M manuals from templates, set up material supply only orders, ensuring filing procedures are maintained to company protocols.

Key responsibilities - Includes but not limited to:

  • Badging, numbering and uploading of documents to cloud-based platforms (document control).
  • Downloading of documents from cloud-based platforms
  • Using specialist software, project drawings will need to be updated to meet requirements of the job and/or client requirements.
  • Produce Risk Assessment and Method Statements, from templates, along with other relevant documents.
  • Create Operation & Maintenance manuals (O&M’s) from templates.
  • The Projects Assistant will be solely responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by the Quotations or Projects department.
  • Ensure the company protocols for filing are maintained ensuring maximum efficiency while doing so.
  • Working with the Projects Team and carrying out any necessary duties to ensure that projects deliver maximum profitability.
  • Duties to be performed to client and in-house deadlines in a timely fashion.

Key skills and experience - The determination to quickly gain experience and expert knowledge of document control portals is a must. A background within document control is preferred but not essential. Numerate and literate with excellent communication skills. Computer literate with the ability to use all basic Microsoft applications. Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills. Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of administrative procedures such as filing and record keeping.
