Senior Administrator (IFA/Wealth Management)

A well-established financial planning and investment firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrator to oversee its administrative operations and ensure the smooth running of its central London office. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Central London | Up to £50,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining a collaborative team environment.

Administrative Duties: Manage schedules, correspondence, and record-keeping (including client records on Intelliflo), while assisting with meeting organisation, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.

HR Functions: Handle or support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to office staff when needed, fostering professional development and engagement.

Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients and external stakeholders, offering high-level customer service and professional etiquette.

Qualifications & Experience

Industry Background: Proven track record in a wealth management, pension, or IFA firm (senior administrator, paraplanner, or related financial planning roles).

Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with Sage is advantageous.

Organisational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and pay close attention to detail.

Leadership & Communication: Capacity to manage a small team, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and client communication skills.

Regulatory Knowledge: Experience in an FCA-regulated environment.

HR Exposure (Preferred): Familiarity with human resources practices is beneficial.

Initiative & Problem-Solving: A proactive approach with sound decision-making capabilities.
