The Account Director will join the leadership team within OCS and will be responsible for the delivery of a high-profile facilities management contract with a public sector IFM client.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership, inspiration, and control in each aspect of contract delivery
  • Full budgetary and commercial responsibility
  • Leadership and lead by example in culture of safety, opportunity, inclusiveness, and diversity
  • Deliver a contract built on leading edge technical engineering standards, solutions and technology
  • Deliver a contract which achieves statutory compliance, KPI adherence and critical engineering asset framework protecting and enhancing customer assets
  • Ensure that a Continuous Improvement Process is an integral part of service delivery, adding value to both the business and our client
  • Lead capital projects initiatives across the contract integrating sustainable and renewable initiatives with value for money solutions
  • Ownership of customer relationships, delivering exceptional customer experience, true partnership and collaboration
  • Assist in the establishment of systems of monitoring through QA/KPI reporting and control, designed to ensure appropriate control over all critical service points, to maximize customer satisfaction, minimize customer complaints and other adverse feedback
  • Champion of SME engagement, circular economy and experience in local community support initiatives
  • Relationship management for key supplier partners across the contract
  • Commercially astute, experience in delivering contracts within CCS frameworks
  • Maximise the potential of the business, leverage relationships and implement solutions which drive productivity and service enhancements
  • Establish contract performance management procedures including targets and reporting mechanisms
  • Ensure that the contract team are provided with the necessary levels of support from the wider team.

About You:

  • Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
  • Extensive experience working in a similar role for a Hard FM service provider
  • Extensive experience at the Senior Management level running hard services and/or facilities management contracts
  • Understanding and demonstration of understanding of critical environment infrastructure, capital project delivery and energy management services
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively to a diverse stakeholder base
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully working with public sector clients
  • Balanced - strategical think and who will `roll their sleeves up` as a leader
  • A decisive individual with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong management skills and ability to form collaborative working relationships and communicate with a large and varied delivery team
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with good time management and leadership skills
  • A creative thinker with a Can Do and Deliver attitude
