The RoleYou will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing a multi-trade DLO model, ensuring operational excellence and long-term sustainability.
- Recruiting, building, and scaling a high-performing multi-trade team to deliver responsive repairs effectively.
- Mobilising the DLO from the ground up, including procurement, supplier engagement, and strategic planning.
- Managing a newly procured Tier 1 supplier frameworks and ensuring seamless integration into the organisation's maintenance strategy.
- Applying procurement expertise, particularly around JCT contracts, and identifying flexible solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Utilising Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) to drive efficiency and value for money.
- Understanding external market factors affecting the responsive repairs sector, including regulatory, financial, and workforce challenges.
- Proven experience in setting up and scaling DLO operations within a housing or public sector environment.
- Strong knowledge of Tier 1 supplier frameworks and procurement strategies.
- Familiarity with JCT contracts and the ability to identify innovative contract solutions.
- Expertise in DPS and supply chain management for responsive repairs.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to navigate external challenges impacting the housing maintenance sector.
