Technical Supervisor - Facilities Management (Critical Environment)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Technical Supervisor to oversee all maintenance, equipment, and service functions within our critical facilities environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of all systems while managing a skilled team of day and shift engineers. Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintaining high operational standards are crucial to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of engineers, including day and shift engineers, ensuring effective delivery of maintenance and engineering tasks.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and functionality across all equipment and services.
  • Ensure all planned maintenance tasks are carried out as scheduled, with an emphasis on statutory and mandatory requirements.
  • Monitor and achieve KPIs related to facility performance and maintenance activities.
  • Complete and record all required maintenance tasks using IT systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in a call-out rota to support 24/7 operations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Essential Qualifications:

    • City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent qualification).
    • HVAP qualification with relevant high-voltage experience.
    • IEE 18th Edition Regulations (preferred).
    • Strong understanding and implementation of Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
  • Experience Required:

    • Previous experience in a critical environment, such as a data centre, is advantageous.
    • Skilled in various types of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work.
    • Proficiency in IT for accurate work documentation.
    • In-depth understanding of Statutory Compliance requirements.
  • Additional Requirements:

    • UK citizenship, as SC and DV security clearance is required.
    • Willingness to wear provided uniform and PPE, as required by contract terms.
    • Availability to participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
