An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join the management team for a prestigious commercial property in the heart of the City. This 12 month FTC will see you overseeing the hard and soft services, supplier management, health & safety, and financial oversight, ensuring an exceptional experience for all customers Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, manage key contracts, and drive continuous improvement across all operational aspects of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the on-site team to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Operations & Service Management: Oversee cleaning, security, reception, and other soft services to maintain a seamless and efficient operation.
  • Supplier & Contract Oversight: Manage service contracts, monitor performance against SLAs & KPIs, and conduct tendering to ensure value for money.
  • Financial Management: Assist with service charge budgets, monitor expenditure, and authorise contractor invoices.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the property meets all regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and implementing best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with occupiers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to enhance the overall experience.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Be available outside normal working hours for emergency situations and act as Deputy Responsible Person when required.

As the successful applicant you'll have proven experience in operations or facilities management managing large scale trophy assets or estates. You'll be confident communicating with key stakeholders and blue chip customers at every level of seniority. An IOSH or NEBOSH is necessary, whilst further industry qualifications would be advantageous.
