My client, a creative construction company that works on some of the UK's most exciting projects, are looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager to join their team!Role: Operations ManagerSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annumWhen: Monday - Friday / 08:00 - 17:00 / 1 day WFH Location: East London What you'll do:
  • Supervise daily workshop operations and team performance
  • Manage all administration 
  • Manage workshop maintenance, including safety, logistics, and general standards
  • Oversee health and safety responsibilities, ensuring compliance across all departments
  • Continuously improve methods, systems, productivity, and output
  • Conduct all on-boarding for new starters 
  • Enforce safe driving protocols, emergency plans, and fire prevention measures
  • Oversee machinery training, ladder safety, working-at-heights safety, and extraction system checks
  • Ensure proper racking and stacking, traffic management, and slip/trip hazard inspections
  • Monitor use and maintenance of power tools, PPE checks, and manual handling practices
  • Manage first aid provisions and maintain clear emergency exit routes
What you need:
  • Knowledge and understanding of the construction industry 
  • Interest and understanding of the events industry - desirable 
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification - essential 
  • Tech savvy - able to work and implement new softwares and procedures confidently 
  • Proven experience with managing a team in an operational setting 
  • Confidence when speaking to high profile clients and companies
