Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in Holloway Road. CBW are currently recruiting for a Water Treatment Engineer to be based in a commercial building inHolloway Road, London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in water treatment ideally with some plumbing experience.
Working hours
- Monday - Friday
- 40 hoursper week
- £25 per hour
- Weekly payment
- Starting Immediately
- Thisrole will include a lotof walkingaround big commercialbuilding
- May need to occasionallytravel to a building in Hackney to cover
- Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems.
- Log Book Ownership
- Chilled Water systems
- Cooling tower maintenance
- Closed system experience
- Water flushing
- Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold water systems when the need arises
- Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing
- Surveys on hot and cold water systems
- Basic Plumbing
- Repairing pipework and leaks
- Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal
- Carry out general building maintenance
- Knowledge of the following; Calorifiers, Cooling Towers - Disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temp tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorination, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip Slides
- City and Guilds in Plumbing
- City and Guilds in Water Treatment
- City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems
- Experience working with cooling towers
- Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
- Fully trained and knowledge
