A little about us

It all started in 2020, with our founder (Barney) baking cinnamon buns in his mums kitchen during lockdown. Fast forward a few years, and Buns From Home is now a fast-growing family of bakeries dotted across London, loved for our iconic buns and exciting weekend specials. We're a cheerful, close-knit team passionate about constantly creating really, really delicious bakes that leave our customers happy and full.

What were looking for

Were on the lookout for a people-focused, bun-loving, multitasking superstar to lead our bakeries as the Area General Manager. Youll be steering the ship across multiple locations, ensuring every bakery is thriving. From keeping operations smooth to championing our culture, youll be a key figure in bringing our story to life for customers and teams alike.

What youll be doing

Keeping things running like clockwork

• Overseeing day-to-day operations across several locations, making sure every bakery is tip-top.
• Maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer service we want everyone leaving with a smile.
• Spotting opportunities for improvements and new ways to grow the business.

Crunching the numbers

• Forecasting for each bakery to ensure they hit their targets.
• Keeping an eye on stock levels to minimise waste and maximise profits.

Leading the team

• Supporting recruitment to make sure each bakery is filled with passionate, well-trained team members.
• Building a positive, inclusive culture where every team member feels valued and motivated.
• Championing team wellbeing, creating a safe, fair and supportive environment for everyone.

Ensuring were safe and sound

• Ensuring all sites comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Overseeing health and safety, from regular checks to hygiene standards, with every team member trained and confident in their roles.

Being the heart of the brand

• Living and breathing the buns from home ethos, keeping our story central to everything we do.
• Inspiring your teams to share that story with our customers and make every visit special.

What wed love you to bring:

• Proven experience managing multiple sites, ideally in the bakery or food & beverage sector.
• A good head for numbers, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• A talent for people management and leadership.
• A solid understanding of health and safety and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
