Our client, a leading financial institution headquartered in Japan, is on the lookout for a talented Quality Assurance Reviewer to join their dynamic Internal Audit Department! About the Role:
As a Quality Assurance Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in providing independent assurance on the quality of Internal Audit work across the organisation. Your insights will be reported to the Audit Committee and will help shape the auditing landscape of our client's operations.


What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive QA reviews on selected audit reports and key themes.
  • Deliver timely QA reviews in accordance with EMEA audit methodology and IIA standards.
  • Identify quarterly QA review themes and communicate findings effectively.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports for AD Management, highlighting training needs.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Practise Group during reviews and recommend process enhancements for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Internal Audit Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to colleagues.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all QA activities and reporting.
  • Engage with a team of 68 audit staff across EMEA, fostering a culture of excellence.

What We're Looking For:

  • In-depth knowledge of Internal Audit Policies and Procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Global Standards and Ethics of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
  • Previous experience in internal audit or credit review, showcasing a strong track record in QA delivery.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent) is desirable.
  • A proactive approach to identifying training needs and providing tailored methodology training.
