Our client has been building their strong reputation within mechanical and electrical installations nationally for over 40 years with a healthy turn-over exceeding 45m. Operating across three divisions they deliver a full range of services from concept and design through to construction, maintenance and security across a range of projects which include retail, storage, industrial, commercial office, healthcare, education and residential.
Due to recent project wins they are looking for an additional Electrical Site Manager to work predominantly on commercial fit out (CAT A/CAT B) projects in central London. These projects are typically in the 500k to 2m project value range, so ideally interested in candidates with experience on smaller project values of similar value. Although the projects are predominantly in the city, you will be required to travel and work away from home occasionally. There will also be periods where you may be required in the office in Epsom.
Electrical Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and supervising work force & site personnel
- Review drawings and specifications from client or main contractor
- Planning workload accordingly
- Daily progress reports
- Carrying out toolbox talks and relevant safety training.
- Inspection checks
- Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working.
- Maintain discipline on site, report any incidents - acting where appropriate.
- Risk assessments
Requirements & experience:
- Valid Electrical Qualification
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Advanced First Aid (3 day one)
- Valid SSSTS
