They are seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to lead their maintenance and engineering teams, ensuring smooth operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across their production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the engineering team to maintain and improve plant equipment and machinery.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborating with production teams to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Managing capital projects, including new equipment installation and facility upgrades.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to food safety and equipment maintenance.
- Developing training programs to upskill engineering staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Overseeing budget management for the engineering department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
