About the RoleAs a Facilities Assistant, you will work closely with the Estates Team to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the school premises. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing general maintenance, minor repairs, and refurbishment works.
- Supporting with health and safety compliance and security protocols.
- Managing porterage duties and assisting with setting up for events.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to safeguarding practices.
This fixed-term position offers the potential for extension to a permanent role, providing a stable and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate.
Requirements- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Basic DIY skills and knowledge of Health and Safety protocols.
- Basic IT skills and an understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Full company closure between Christmas and New Year.
- Paid overtime and mileage allowance for travel between sites.
