This is a great opportunity to work on one of the biggest substation builds in the UK. My client is a design consultancy who have taking on the civil packages of this £300mill + power project. They will be working on earthworks, bridges and entry roads as well as the civil packages of the substation itself.

My client is looking for a Design Manager who can work with the main contractor and help with client relationships. Other duties will involve: documentation schedules/ filing, attend weekly meetings, look after program  and raise early warnings.

In an ideal world the candidate will come from a designer background and would of worked for a main contractor in the past as will be able to understand the clients mentality.
Â
Anyone that has worked on National Grid projects and also had interface with Network Rail would be highly sought after, as well as having experience working with reinforced concrete structures.

This role will be hybrid with 3 days office (South West London) with one of this days being on site (Heathrow) the other 2 can be home working.
