My client a top Global company are currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Manager to join their team on a contract basis. Please note if successful you will need to set up via an Umbrella Company/PAYE.

Key responsibilities for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Manager:

  • Delivery and Project Leadership: Develop and implement project plans that align with the organisation's strategic goals. Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to deployment and support.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of developers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Allocate resources effectively and set clear team objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for business & project stakeholders, including business units and IT leadership. Ensure transparent communication regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Process Optimization: Utilise deep understanding of business processes and technology to identify opportunities for process improvement. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of deliverables, ensuring they meet predefined standards and business requirements. Implement rigorous testing and QA processes to ensure the reliability and performance of solutions.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks. Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management plans to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Vendor and Resource Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards. Oversee procurement and integration of third-party solutions as needed.
  • Agile Methodology: Apply agile methodologies and principles to manage projects and deliver value quickly and efficiently. Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure the team adheres to agile best practices.
