Operations Manager | Beauty & Cosmetics Scaleup | London / Hybrid

Harmonic Operations are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with one of the UK's most innovative Beauty & Cosmetics scaleup brands on the hire of an Operations Manager to join the team.

The business has developed an incredibly strong brand centered around sustainability which has resonated well amongst consumers and is quickly becoming a household name. This comes as no surprise as their products were designed specifically to reduce carbon footprint within their category and offer naturally made products to consumers with no nasties or additives. The Operations Manager reports directly into the Head of Operations and oversee the end-to-end movement of goods from their UK manufacturing operations to global markets which they operate in such as the European and US markets. This will include working with key suppliers, haulers, and distributers as well as the internal team to oversee a smooth flow of goods.

The Role:

Ø Working alongside the Head of Operations in organizing the Demand and Supply Planning

Ø Overseeing logistics from the UK as well as Europe and US markets.

Ø Updating daily operations around supply chain and logistics. This includes the demand planning, production reports, generation of COGS reports and reconciliation of stock

Ø Support with planning and development of internal processes and implementations

Ø Responsibility for overseeing stock levels and providing robust reports around these

Ø Reporting KPI performance

Ø Working alongside the Sales Director and their team to understand forecasts, reports and suggestions for improvement

Ø Ensuring that orders are placed with suppliers in a timely fashion

Ø Monthly stock reporting

Ø Working closely with the Sales/ marketing and general teams

Ø Liaising with production facilities and warehouses

Ø Client and supplier management

Ø Positive attitude and motivated

Ø Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills

Ø Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effective

Ø Experience building and improving processes

Ø Broad commercial and technical skill set

What we would like to see:

Ø Previous experience in FMCG, e-commerce, food & beverage, fashion, retail sectors

Ø Worked in a fast growth start-up or scale-up (any sector)

Ø Has a passion for plant-based products and healthy, sustainable living

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000

Availability - ASAP (can wait 3 months max)
