The company is seeking an Operations Manager to join their consulting business focused on Automation, with a salary range of £60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses and excellent benefits.
This is a permanent position that offers a clear path for career progression into an Operations Director role and eventually the Chief Operating Officer within a few years.
Candidates should have proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role, ideally with a focus on Automation Consultancy.
Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing policies to optimize performance, and leading a high-performing team while ensuring compliance with regulations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Operations Manager Specification:

Manage and coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize performance.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
Monitor team performance and address any issues to maintain productivity and morale.
Identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Oversee the adoption of tools and technologies to streamline operations.
Collaborate with senior management to align operational strategies with organizational goals.
Act as a key point of contact for external partners and stakeholders.
Prepare operational performance reports for leadership review.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in Automation Consultancy.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
