With a turnover in the region of £15 million, the company works with tier 1 main contractors and developers installing Built up Felt Roofing, Mastic Asphalt, Hot Melt Waterproofing, Cold applied Liquid, Green and Brown Roof, Blue Roof, Warm, cold and Inverted Roofing.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking to recruit a site based Project Manager to join their team on a £2.5 million roofing project with a large focus on waterproofing.
This will be for a new build development based in Southwest London.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, and clients, to ensure seamless project progression
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, creating a secure work environment for all team members and stakeholders
- Manage project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress, identifying deviations, and taking corrective actions as necessary
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and industry best practices
- Lead and inspire on-site teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, productivity, and professional development
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive client relationship
- Problem-solve and make informed decisions quickly, ensuring project challenges are resolved promptly to prevent delays
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, including progress reports, daily logs, safety records, and change orders
- Collaborate with quality assurance and inspection teams to ensure the delivery of a high-quality finished product
