Role Overview:

The company isseeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the team, managing social housing frameworks across London. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in managing large-scale housing projects, particularly within the social housing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that all aspects of the project are progressing as planned.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and site teams, ensuring that work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve any technical challenges and ensure smooth project execution.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as aSite Manager within the construction industry, with a focus on social housing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, health & safety protocols, and quality assurance.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) and a degree or equivalent in a construction-related field are desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the local construction market in London and experience working within social housing frameworks is a significant advantage.
