Location: London
Project: 100-unit residential scheme, moving into Phase 2 (350 units) - internal fit-out
Contract: Freelance, 5 days per week on-site
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the internal fit-out phase of a large-scale residential development in London. The project is currently progressing from a 100-unit phase into a significantly larger 350-unit second phase. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a strong personality to drive quality and efficiency on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the internal fit-out stage of a large-scale residential development.
Oversee subcontractors and ensure all package management responsibilities are met.
Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure all works meet required specifications and compliance standards.
Coordinate site activities, ensuring smooth workflow and timely project completion.
Work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to resolve any site-related issues.
Enforce strict health & safety measures and compliance with building regulations.
Provide regular progress updates and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within the residential sector.
Strong background in internal fit-out and package management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams.
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes and compliance with standards.
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and problem-solve effectively.
Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications.
