My client is a private (family) owned business with a turnover in excess of 150 million per annum

Specifically for their Construction side of the business within the Social Housing Refurbishment arm they are looking for aSite Managerto join their team paying circa 65k + Package.
The majority of projects are delivered under Partnering arrangements with their Partner Clients who include RSL's & Councils.

Their Company is structured with a number of operational divisions supported by specialist departments including Resident Liaison Procurement, Quality, Safety and Training, Design Coordination, M-Architecture, M&C Environmental Services (mechanical and electrical services)

Role Overview:
As a Site Manager for our social housing refurbishment projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that all work complies with health and safety regulations, building codes, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed to time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and promote a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Lead and motivate the on-site team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and a collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and identify any potential risks or issues.
  • Prepare and manage site reports, daily logs, and other necessary documentation.
  • Manage and resolve any site-related issues, including client concerns and unforeseen challenges.
  • Ensure all project work is completed to meet social housing standards and client expectations.
