Contract: Freelance with the potential of a permanent contract
Salter Grange are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage refurbishment projects for commercial properties including offices, warehouses and industrial units. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment
- Proven experience as a Site Manager completing commercial refurbishment projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to deal with onsite teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
