We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Third Party Management Operating Model SME.Role PurposeThe Third-Party Management Operating Model SME is a contract role expected to provide Subject Matter Expertise in the assessment, design and implementation of an optimised operating model to implement the Technology’s Third Party Management ‘Helix’ resilience programme.Role Context:• Operating in a highly competitive environment, Technology leverages various Suppliers and other third party engagements to provide efficient distribution channels.• With presence in multiple countries and over several thousand third party business engagements, Technology TPM is a critical function that is responsible for managing day to day risk presented by these operations.• In an increasingly governed and regulated environment the ability to provide assurance that all the models are being deployed in countries to an agreed standard is paramount.Key Accountabilities :Technology Third Party Management Operating Model SME will be expected to:• Help assess the current operating model and complete a detailed as-is-assessment.• Understand and document current challenges, concerns and aeras for improvement.• Work closely with key stakeholders across multiple functions, heling to develop a close and collaborative relationship.• Define the future-state operating model, clearly articulating the benefits case for implementation.Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications (For the role – not the role holder)• Strong experience in managing complex and strategic Third Party relationships.• Knowledge and experience of best practices in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) principles• Demonstrable experience across:o End-to-end supplier lifecycle management understanding, including effective management of strategy, performance, contracting and exit.o Fundamentals of driving resilience in Third Party providers, especially in the technology domain.o The development and implementation of organisational operating models, across people, process, technology, governance, structure and key outputs and objectives• Able to negotiate and interact effectively at senior levels.• Understanding of Technology Service Management principles (ITIL experience preferable but not mandatory).• Excellent cross stakeholder management, communication, presentation and influencing skills.• Understanding of Third-Party risk domains and principles• Experience of the end-to-end Procurement processes, including RFX, contracting and post deal management.• Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly develop knowledge of, business and products,• Leadership skills to drive the discipline forward in a constantly changing risk environment.• Knowledge of regulatory environment in the financial services or similarly heavily regulated sector.• Able to conceptualise the operational impact of business change.• Ability to understand complex concepts.• Self-starter, independent and willing to self-define and drive required outcomes to achieve objectives.• Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.Please note, in the event of a high volume of applications for this role, we will not be able to respond to each individual applicant.
