To support these goals, we are strengthening our infrastructure to ensure excellence in financial, contractual, and governance compliance.

The Joint Research Office (JRO) manages research support across both medical and non-medical faculties of the university and its affiliated NHS Trust. This includes services such as costing, pricing, contracting, and financial and regulatory compliance. Our Post Award team ensures adherence to financial compliance at various levels, supporting researchers across different disciplines.

As a senior member of the Post Award team, the post holder will collaborate closely with the Post Award Manager and Costing and Contracts Officer to manage a range of projects. The role will be based primarily at the JRO office, though travel between campuses may be required. The post holder will be a key resource for academic, clinical, and professional colleagues, offering expert advice on financial matters.
