We have partnered with a London Insurer to find them a Senior Catastrophe Research Analyst. This is a highly technical role requiring a strong analytical experience in the London Insurance market and a background in Natural Sciences or Engineering. Key responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Work closely with the R&D team and other stakeholders to ensure catastrophe risk is well understood, accurately measured, and effectively communicated across the business.
  • Contribute to the development and assessment of datasets and methodologies, refining catastrophe models to enhance accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze historical loss data, apply statistical modeling to identify trends, challenge existing assumptions, conduct stress testing, and integrate diverse datasets to enhance predictive modeling.
  • Track catastrophe events worldwide to support Reserving and Claims teams with real-time analysis and insights.
