Account Director (French-native) - Social Agency
Based: London (hybrid structure)
Salary: £49-57k (Generous commission structure every Q as well as annual company bonuses!)
The Agency
I am working with a UK social media agency who work with some of the biggest brands in the world across social strategy, community management, client services, influencer marketing and content creation.
The Role
- Lead account teams to deliver work that aligns with the broader social strategy, structuring teams for success and driving consistently high standards across all outputs.
- Serve as the primary client contact, fostering collaborative and trusted relationships while clearly communicating the value of your team's work to the client.
- Organise and lead key meetings, reviews, and ongoing project touchpoints. Identify and resolve delivery issues, and work with teams to continuously improve workflows.
- Oversee the execution of social-first campaigns in the French market, managing small local team in Paris and ensuring top-quality work through clear briefs and quality assurance.
- Support relationship-building and project success through regular in-person visits to Paris (approximately monthly), engaging with both clients and local collaborators.
- Ensure accurate delivery of agreed scopes and timelines, monitor team capacity and resourcing, and lead monthly reporting on commercial performance and delivery efficiency.
About You
- A native French speaker based in London, fluent in English and confident operating in bilingual environments.
- Brings over 4 years of experience in a client services role within an agency setting.
- Deeply passionate about enhancing the client experience, with a natural ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Driven to take ownership of account output, with solid expertise across social-first delivery-including strategy, creative, media, and account management.
- Well-versed in project management and client service best practices, with experience mentoring and supporting the development of others in these areas.
- Demonstrated success in retaining, nurturing, and growing client accounts.
