Role Overview:
This role will provide full support to the two Communications and Marketing Managers who make up the team, allowing them to prioritize strategy and planning. This support could include copywriting, graphic design, social media and email marketing, event planning, updating the website, and any ad hoc duties. Although this role has the scope to potentially be involved with a variety of areas across the department, a specialist area may be assigned to the post-holder, depending on the experience of the successful candidate and the current priorities of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Planning: Collaborate with the team to ensure an organized schedule that balances all marketing areas and business priorities.
- Copywriting: Create content in our brand tone of voice for diverse purposes such as marketing, education, thought-leadership, and brand-building.
- Visual Asset Creation: Develop engaging images, videos, and collaterals for the website, social media, emails, company literature, and events.
- Email Marketing: Design and send emails to our subscriber list, ensuring content remains useful and engaging.
- Website Updates: Keep online content accurate, up-to-date, and relevant for our audiences.
- Social Media Management: Create content and manage channels to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Event Coordination: Plan and host events to engage with customers, employees, and the wider industry.
- Campaign Performance Tracking: Process data and create reports to track progress and inform decisions.
- General Administration: Support department efficiencies and monitor shared inboxes for incoming queries.
Personal Skills:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Graphic design skills (images essential, videos desirable)
- Experience with general B2B marketing techniques
- Experience with email marketing
- Experience creating content for and managing social media platforms (LinkedIn essential, YouTube desirable)
- Experience with event planning, coordination, or hosting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, WordPress, Canva, CoSchedule, Zoho Campaigns, SharePoint, Crossware, Google Analytics, and 1Password (desirable)
- Experience working with AI (desirable)
- Experience working closely with a Sales team or generating leads (desirable)
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage a varied workload with sometimes conflicting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to build good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
