Contract role | Salesforce Developer | Marketing Cloud | 3 months | Outside IR35 | RemoteI'm working with a client in the publishing industry who are looking to add some additional functions to their CRM using marketing cloud. It will be a remote contract and outside IR35 for an inital 3 month period, with opportunity to extend after. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to meet the advanced needs of our publishing projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and our existing systems, enhancing data flow and functionality.
  • Conduct regular system testing and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance and resolve any issues.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on Salesforce best practices within the publishing industry.
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and advocate for their adoption when beneficial.
  • Document processes and maintain clear records to support project continuity and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong track record in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations.
  • Previous experience in the publishing sector is essential, with a deep understanding of the industry’s unique challenges and requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integration capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex workflows and marketing automation strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Developer certification and Marketing Cloud Specialist credential are highly desirable.
