About the Role:
Our client, a North London based Local Authority, is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Regeneration & Development Project Manager to join their dynamic Regeneration & Development team. The team is responsible for delivering the council-led development programme, focusing on complex regeneration schemes, new housing projects, and community assets, including schools and community facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex regeneration and development schemes from inception through to delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of the development programme.
- Deliver housing and community infrastructure projects, including schools, healthcare facilities, and community spaces.
- Contribute to the identification of new growth opportunities and work towards securing funding and resources.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and project risks to ensure the successful execution of development initiatives.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and local communities to ensure alignment and support for projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations in the delivery of regeneration projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in regeneration and development project management, with experience in delivering large-scale housing and community infrastructure projects. You should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Significant experience in regeneration, development, or construction project management.
- In-depth knowledge of housing delivery, community infrastructure, and capital projects.
- Strong understanding of the planning process, development finance, and project delivery methodologies.
- Experience of managing stakeholder relationships, including local communities, developers, and public sector partners.
- Ability to manage project budgets, risks, and timelines effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
