A tangible asset ownership firm that specialises in cask whisky ownership is seeking a strategic, and hands-on Ecommerce Manager to join their growing Marketing team and take full ownership of their digital retail ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for auditing, optimising, and evolving the website and broader eCommerce strategy, driving daily performance while building a long-term roadmap for sustainable growth.

This role is primarily office based near Liverpool St. Station (1 day a week working from home) and is paying £55,000-£65,000 (dependent on experience).

In this role you’ll build, own, and implement the overall ecommerce strategy in alignment with company goals, ensuring it's both commercially effective and brand-aligned, as well as working closely with marketing to ensure a cohesive approach between paid, organic, and on-site journeys.

You’ll influence digital campaigns and product launches with data-driven insight and tailored eCommerce strategy.

You’ll be solely responsible for all aspects of ecommerce, including new product launches online, the revenue and margin performance of the ecommerce channel as well as owning the day-to-day operations and performance of the website

Role Requirements/Must Have:

  • 8+ years of Ecommerce experience, ideally within high-growth start-up or DTC environments (minimum 5+ years in an Ecommerce Lead role)
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to own P&L for eCommerce channels
  • Experience within drinks/beverages is absolutely essential, ideally whisky, spirits and/or wine, secondary 'other' beverage categories will suffice.
  • Experience in Product Management is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and third-party eCommerce tools
  • Confident working across digital marketing disciplines including SEO, PPC, email, and affiliate marketing
  • Skilled with Google Analytics/GA4, Google Search Console, Hotjar, SEMrush, AHRefs, Klaviyo (or similar), and A/B testing tools

**Please note this role will be required to work 'retail' hours over the Christmas period. That means no annual can be taken in December/over Christmas. Christmas day (25th Dec) and New Years Day (1st Jan) are holiday days but these are the only exceptions, this individual will be working Boxing Day (with a day of in lieu for this)**
