Join our expanding team as a Fundraising Marketing Executive, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our vital work. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic and professional individual looking to specialise in both Fundraising and Marketing. You will bring experience from a variety of platforms to support the entire Fundraising Team by enhancing the charity's digital presence into a cohesive and ambitious strategy.
Day to Day of the Role- Collaborate with the Communications & Marketing team to plan and implement digital marketing activities including email, social, and display advertising to increase income and event sign-ups.
- Implement paid content marketing initiatives, recommend content, channels, and budgets for the Fundraising Team.
- Review and assist with the implementation of fundraising marketing plans from a digital perspective.
- Support key campaigns by suggesting ideas and aiding with the creation and delivery of content on key channels.
- Manage website and third-party online platform fundraising to optimise donations and maximise income.
- Develop our email marketing programme and social media content surrounding key fundraising appeals.
- Monitor and measure the success of all fundraising-focused social media content and adapt strategies as necessary to improve outcomes.
- A-Level education or equivalent experience, with 2-5 years in a fundraising or charity marketing role.
- Experience creating content across various platforms, with proficiency in tools like Canva.
- Familiarity with mass-email platforms and social media tools.
- Experience working with databases; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Understanding of GDPR guidelines and ability to adhere to them.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
- Creativity in content creation, campaign ideation, and problem-solving skills.
