The role is B2B and also B2C and you will have plenty of opportunity to use your fluent German language skills both the phone and also in-person where you will meet clients at events across the UK and also abroad.

TITLE : German Sales and Business Development Manager

Salary : to £35,000 + OTE of additional £10k in year one (OTE is uncapped)

The role

Fast-paced and exciting international events business in which you will be working to well established event production-deadlines. The role is B2B and also B2C and you will have plenty of opportunity to use your fluent German language skills both the phone and also in-person where you will meet clients at events across the UK and also abroad.

Duties

Working from a well-established list of existing customers you will:

  • Make outbound "courtesy calls" to introduce yourself to potential and also existing sponsors promoting event packages
  • Liaising with regards pricing of sponsorship packages and also explaining the costs of attendance
  • Chasing up the previous year's event attendees in order to check their attendance this year
  • Sending out event information, price lists, customer lists and other event-related information
  • Work to revenue sales targets
  • There will be some international travel in this role as you will be attending events

Requirements

  • Fluent German
  • 12-18 months previous sales experience
