Job Title: M&E Asset Surveyor - Healthcare Contract (Temporary)
Location: London (Multiple Sites)
Salary: £300 - £400 per day (DOE)
Contract Length: Estimated 5 months
We are currently working with a leading corporate Facilities Management provider to recruit an experienced M&E Asset Surveyor for a contract position. This exciting role will involve working across three large hospital sites in London, delivering asset surveying and management services for the healthcare sector. As the M&E Asset Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing, recording, and managing the condition and performance of mechanical and electrical assets to ensure compliance with regulations and the smooth operation of critical building systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in M&E, who has experience working in the facilities management or healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed M&E asset surveys across multiple healthcare facilities.
Assess the condition and remaining lifespan of mechanical and electrical assets, including HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire alarms, and more.
Provide accurate data and reporting on asset conditions, identifying any risks or areas requiring maintenance or replacement.
Work with the client's facilities team to develop asset management strategies and prioritise essential maintenance or replacements.
Ensure all surveys and reports comply with relevant healthcare and safety regulations.
Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure the optimal performance and compliance of M&E systems.
Maintain accurate records of surveys and asset data, updating the asset register where necessary.

Skills & Experience Required:
Strong technical background in Mechanical and Electrical engineering or facilities management.
Previous experience in asset surveying or asset management within a facilities management or healthcare environment.
In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, and fire safety equipment.
Proven ability to assess asset conditions and develop actionable reports.
Experience working in healthcare environments (desirable but not essential).
Ability to manage multiple sites and work effectively within a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
