A great new role has come onto the market with one of the world’s largest global law firms who require an outstanding Marketing and BD specialist to work within a well-established and highly-regarded global Marketing & BD team dedicated to supporting the firm on a wide range of business development, marketing and client relationship management activities.

Based in London, the successful applicant will support the marketing activities of the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration and Employment practice. The firm have a leading reputation in Litigation, Arbitration and Employment legal services, with over two thirds of their partners being recognised in legal directories around the world. This will be a highly collaborative role working under direction from the Litigation, Arbitration and Employment Marketing & BD Manager and closely with the London team. You will be integral in helping to drive forward the Practice Group strategy in London and globally to ensure that opportunities to grow revenues from existing and prospective clients across the practice are maximised, to raise the firm’s profile and position within their key markets and to leverage and coordinate the firm’s people, knowledge and resources in an effective and efficient manner. The role holder will support the development and implementation of marketing and BD plans and budgets across several LAE practice areas, in line with the practice’s business plans and objectives. This will involve ensuring a structured approach to targeting and client development, pitching, profile raising and marketing campaigns. In addition, the Marketing & Business Development Adviser will write, edit and produce marketing communications, coordinate and oversee client events and seminars and will work with the PR team on practice area entries in trade publications, directories and legal supplements.

The ideal candidate for this challenging role will possess proven experience working in a business development or marketing environment, preferably in a major law firm, and a solid understanding of professional services marketing and business development. Relevant marketing or sales qualifications and prior knowledge and experience of litigation and arbitration would be advantageous but are by no means essential for the role of Marketing & Business Development Adviser.
