Our client, a global media company, is seeking three-months temporary cover for a Marketing Assistant, Home Entertainment. The role sits within the Marketing team, supporting with day-today physical and digital distribution of both new and Catalogue products.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as a first point of contact with the general public, managing the enquiry inbox.

  • Acting as a key point of contact for the Department in the management of premiere and social events.

  • Liaising with trade magazines and keeping all agencies and departments up to date with release information and news.

  • Supporting the department with effective information sharing regarding release information, creative assets, research and reports.

  • Managing release schedule information, metadata databases and other important team documents.

  • Managing asset uploads, liaising with sales teamsregarding release information, and monitoring online and digital service supplier information to ensure release details are accurate.

  • Updating the company’s website with new release products, packshots, updating copy and new information.

  • Providing support to Product Managers; Checking packaging copy and marketing materials, competitor analysis, assisting with design and artwork.

  • Briefing PR agency with activity as appropriate.

  • Evaluating and proposing drafting and seasonal opportunities.

  • Supporting Product Managers with pre-order tracking and Amazon activity.

  • Creating retail PowerPoint presentations for quarterly meetings.

  • Managing and tracking stock orders for all parties, including management, sales agents and other key stakeholders.

  • Assisting the Marketing team with administration that covers purchase orders, travel, meeting arrangements, and expenses.

  • Providing support for digital transactional commercial team as required.

  • Supporting with reporting requirements, weekly sales report, and monthly sales tracker for Competitor DTV Acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position, ideally within the Entertainment/Film industry.

  • Knowledge and interest in film, engaged in film entertainment.

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and project management skills.

  • Excellent numerical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident and clear communicator.

  • Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
