NJR Recruitment are partnered with a leading firm of Pension specialists offering a family orientated working environment. Over the years they have built an excellent reputation for providing specialist SSAS pensions administration services. Our client now offers an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Associate to join their team in the Salisbury or Wimbledon on a 12 month FTC. The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Distribution and the Marketing Assistant, delivery the firms marketing plans, developing and implementing a wide variety of marketing activities.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Associate:

Organising and managing a programme of hosted events: in-house, external and virtual, from inception to follow up

Attending hosted events, to ensure smooth execution and acting as representative of the firm

Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Distribution to prepare various materials to support marketing and business development initiatives.

Working with colleagues in technical and team functions to keep up to date all client and internal proposition forms and documentation.

Helping to execute marketing campaigns via the website, Google ads and social media channels.

Keeping the website up to date, publishing new content and ensuring SEO objectives are met.

Helping in relation to social media channels (mainly but not limited to LinkedIn) to schedule and monitor the publishing of content and keeping track of engagement activity on the firms social media channels.

Email marketing primary user of the firms Hub Spot marketing email account, including template creation, management of mailing data, setup and execution of email marketing campaigns and tracking responses.

Ad hoc marketing support and activities as required to facilitate the smooth running of the department.

Providing monthly reports to the Director of Marketing & Distribution.

Comply with the Health & Safety Guidelines as set out in the Health & Safety Management System document.

Ensure compliance with our Company policies, procedures, and guidelines

To be sucessful the ideal candidate will :

Ability to think creatively and generate new, varied and interesting marketing campaigns. Design experience would be desirable.

Preferably educated degree level in business or marekting related areas

Proactive approach with the ability to research and quickly understand the latest trends and best practices in marketing, to identify potential new marketing ideas and concepts.

Highly organised, ability to work on your own, great project management skills and excellent time management.

Excellent command of the English language and communication skills.

Professional attitude, hardworking, team player.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Ability to manage competing demands.

Flexibility.

Sound working knowledge of various applications including WordPress, Hubspot, SEO platform (Semrush), Canva as well as a good working knowledge of Adobe packages and Microsoft Office, particularly Powerpoint. Practical knowledge of LinkedIn and GDPR requirements is also important.

Car owner/driving license is essential.

Requirement for some UK travel, including occasional overnight hotel stays.

This role would suit a candidate with a mininum of 2-3 years of marking experience ideally within the financial service sector.
